The Blue Parrot provides attractive accommodation set in the exotic Gambian beach area of Senegambia. All of us at the Blue Parrot will do our best to give you a comfortable, enjoyable, but most of all memorable holiday in Gambia, the smiling coast of Africa.Our aim is that you should leave the Blue Parrot with a smile on your face.

We have four large double en-suite bedrooms with showers and ceiling fans. The Blue Parrot also has a bar and restaurant. Our chefs cook local and International dish's to a high standard, all of which are the most competitively priced in the area. We can provide a traditional Gambian dish with rice for D50, for example Benachin (rice cooked with meat or fish, vegtables and tomatoes), Domoda (meat stewed in penut puree), Chicken Yassa (Chicken cooked with fresh lime, onions and ground pepper).

We also have a very competitively priced bar with entertainment most evenings. If your feeling up to it, we can also provide lessons, teaching you to play traditional African drums. We are within easy walking distance of the strip in Senegambia, minutes walk away from the beautiful beaches.

Because we are a small guest house we can provide a friendly service that you might not get at the larger hotels. We can collect you from the airport and we can organise special tailor made sight seeing trips, fishing trips. We want to show you what you want to see!

For example, we can take you to Jinnack for the day - an unspoiled traditional African village, well off the beaten track, set on an island bordering Gambia and Senegal. We can also stop off at Brending on the way to see if there are any crocodiles lurking at the local watering hole!
